As a new year unfolds with fresh prospects, the start of 2026 has brought a stellar beginning for SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC-ITC): over 100,000 cubic meters of imported timber has been successfully delivered. The shipment includes softwood logs, hardwood logs and various timber boards, which strongly supports meeting the raw material demands of domestic construction, furniture, papermaking and other industries, enriches the variety and quality of timber supplies, and scores a promising start for the new year.

In recent years, leveraging its profound strengths in the timber supply chain, SUMEC-ITC has actively advanced the strategic layout of the integrated forest-pulp-paper industry. It has intensified the integration and development of global resource channels, expanded the sourcing of high-quality timber resources covering Europe, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, Asia and other markets, and simultaneously increased imports of related products such as paper and pulp, achieving diversification and synergy in raw material supply.

Furthermore, SUMEC-ITC has strived to introduce pulp making, papermaking and deep processing equipment with internationally advanced technologies and manufacturing processes. It has connected the entire industrial chain of timber resources – pulp and paper raw materials – high-end equipment – finished product output, and built an integrated comprehensive operation system encompassing resource supply, technology introduction, logistics support and cost optimization, further boosting trade added value and differentiated competitive advantages.

In 2025, SUMEC-ITC achieved a year-on-year increase of 52% in the total import value of various timber products and a 12% year-on-year growth in the import value of paper and pulp products, with the supply chain resilience being continuously strengthened.

Pressing forward for a new chapter and striving to kick off the 15th Five-Year Plan period, SUMEC-ITC, under the correct leadership of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), will focus on its core business areas such as industrial chain and supply chain operation.
